THE Wedding

How could we start a blog and not post a wedding picture? Here's a cutting-the-cake photo from Gina B's camera... even though we "eloped", we couldn't resist the small cake with the by-the-sea motif. The star fish are now in a vase in our living room.

The meal and the cake took place at 1587: a small, harbor side restaurant in Manteo, NC (http://www.1587.com/). It was so good that we went back a couple of times before we sailed our "Home on the Water" out toward the Intercoastal Waterway.

The seas were calm, the wine was plenty, and Rob and Heidi lived happily ever after. Of course the honeymoon had to wrap up and then we were suddenly back at work. If only we could slow down time when we choose... and fast forward through the rest.
